Fray Perico y la Primavera

Esta vez ha sido una alumna de 1º Bilingüe la que ha querido participar en nuestro blog haciéndonos una reseña en español y en inglés de un libro que ha leído. ¡Muchas gracias, Elena!

ESPAÑOL

Fray Procopio fue el primero en darse cuenta de que había llegado la primavera, mientras él observando distraído las fases de la Luna con su catalejo, vió una mariposa de bellísimos colores, la cual le faltaba para completar su colección. Todos los frailes quisieron atraparla, pero no pudieron.

Mientras tanto, Fray Perico y “Calcetín” (su asno), fueron a la ciudad y de regreso al monasterio, les asaltaron tres ladrones por el camino. “Calcetín” les dio una coz y Fray Perico con el paraguas les hizo una zancadilla. Apiadándose de ellos, les convirtió en unos frailes muy singulares.

Algunos días después, llegó la guerra de la Independencia y  los franceses entraron en el monasterio, robando todo lo que podían. Pero cuando estaban en la capilla para robar a San Francisco, llegó el rey José Bonaparte y les hizo devolver todo lo que les habían robado a los frailes.

Como eran las 12 del mediodía, el rey pidió amablemente de comer y Fray Pirulero, (el cocinero), preparó una sabrosa comida.

Cuando acabaron, todo el ejército se puso en movimiento, siguiendo su camino hacia una nueva batalla.

ENGLISH

Fray Procopio was the first to realize that spring had arrived, while he was observing distracted the phases of the Moon with his spyglass, he saw a butterfly with beautiful colours, which he was missing to complete his collection. All the friars wanted to catch her, but they couldn’t.

Meanwhile, Fray Perico and “Calcetín” (his donkey), went to the city and returned to the monastery, they were strike buy three thieves on their way. “Calcetín” gave them a kick, and Fray Perico with the umbrella made them a trip up. Take pity of them, he made them in very unique friars.

Some Days after, the war of the independence came and French people went into the monastery and they stole everything they could, but when they were in the chapel to steal San Francisco, the king José Bonaparte arrived and made them return all that had stolen from the friars.

As it was 12 noon, the king kindly asked to eat and Fray Pirulero, (the cook), prepared a tasty food.

When they finished, all the army started moving, following its path towards a new battle.
